KATHMANDU, Jan 8: Four ministers from the Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) on Saturday morning submitted their resignations to Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal at the latter´s official residence in Baluwatar.

TMDP delegation led by President Mahanta Thakur submitted the resignations of Education Minister Sarbendra Nath Sukla, State Minister for Education Govinda Chaudhary, Minister for Youth and Sports Ganesh Tiwari Nepali and Assistant Minister Chanda Chaudhary to the PM.

The central committee meeting of TMDP on Friday had decided to tender resignations of its four ministers accusing the prime minister of turning a deaf ear to their demand to sack Minister for Industry Mahendra Prasad Yadav and State Minister Dan Bahadur Chaudhary, who defected from the mother party to register TMDP-Nepal.
