KATHMANDU, Nov 9: The fifth regional conference of the Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) is going to be held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, from January 14 to 16, 2011.
The theme of the conference is "Collective Investment and Safe Immigration".
The objective of the conference is to collect small savings belonging to the NRNs having low income, to invest such collection converting into capital in Nepal and to manage the immigration system.
According to conference coordinator Rameshwor Shah, the conference will give focus on secured immigration for those Nepalis interested in going for foreign jobs and the possible role of collective investment in the nation´s economic development.
The high-ranking government official of the Nepal government, diplomats, representatives of the political parties and private organizations, media personnel, noted personalities and NRNs living in several countries will be participating in the conference.
