  Abduction cases on rise in Siraha

LAHAN, Feb 16: Incidents of abduction from various parts of Siraha district have been on the rise of late.

Another person has been abducted by unidentified group from Siraha district headquarters Siraha on Monday.

It is reported that an unknown group kidnapped Deependara Chaudhary (28) known to be Deeppu of Gamhariya Maheshpur-9 of Siraha.

He was kidnapped by the group while returning home after shutting down own shop at Ghurami Chowk on Monday evening, informed Bechu Chaudhary, father of Deependra.

The kidnappers also took away the motorbike he was riding, he further informed, adding the abductors had demanded ransom worth Rs. 2.5 million by using the mobile of his son.

Chaudhary has urged human rights activists, media persons and police administration to take initiative for the safe and unconditional release of his son.
