Country heading towards chaos, failure: PM

REPUBLICA

BARA, Feb 14: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai said on Tuesday that the country is driving towards failure and chaos.

Ministers are in jail, lawmakers are committing crimes like abductions and IGPs are involved in corruption, he said.

Addressing a function in Bara, he said that no one can trust anyone and corruption is on rise in dangerous level.

He also stressed that the national consensus government will be formed under his leadership and expressed his confidence that the new constitution will be drafted within the stipulated time.

The new constitution will be inclusive, PM added.
